Good show overall!
This was an ok show. Johnny Resnick never sounds as good on their albums as he does live. I was skeptical at the time those VIP packages were on sale about how the experience would be on stage. We mostly saw the band from behind and were off to the side in the back, which I would have figured. I thought the experience on stage was ok overall. Since we paid so much money for those tickets, I just thought they would interact with us more, but they really didn't. I would of have sat in my pit seat to get a front view, but overall it was a very cool experience to see what it's like to view a concert onstage and see what the band members see. I just don't like how bands are making fans pay so much money for VIP packages just to get a front row seat. It is what it is, but I don't think it's fair. Meet and greets are very quick, you take a picture, and that's all. It was exactly like that. Robbie and **Esperanza Spalding** were nice. I expected Robbie to be more interacting with us than **Esperanza Spalding**. There was a very bad storm that night which delayed the show, and all shows at Riverbend have to end by 11 or bans start getting charged fines. They didn't come on until 10pm, and we all thought we weren't going to get the full concert. They played a great job of playing most of their set list and played until almost 11:30, which I really appreciated. Daughtry also sounded good, but he played a lot of his new stuff, which I didn't care for as much as his old stuff. He needs to create a true rock song that will get you pumped and have nothing to do with love or breaking up.
